This comprehensive 124-contact-hour class combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on clinical experience in a hospital or long-term care facility. The initial 80 hours of classroom instruction includes lectures and lab work to adequately prepare students for entering the workforce. The final 44 hours comprise Written and Skills assessments, a final exam, clinical preparation, and mock competency evaluations.
