With our recent move to Johnston County, we are excited to continue welcoming prospective students from Wake County and surrounding areas. To better support access to our programs, we are pleased to offer transportation assistance for students who are interested.

Program costs may vary depending on individual circumstances. We invite you to attend an upcoming Open House to discuss your unique goals, explore your options, and receive personalized guidance tailored to your needs.

We currently specialize in Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) training, equipping students with the essential skills needed to launch a rewarding career in healthcare. Additional courses—including CNA II, Medication Technician (Med Tech), and Phlebotomy—are coming soon!

To enroll at Hope of Solace Institute, please complete an in-person application, participate in an interview with our Admissions Team, and submit all required student documents. Admission decisions are typically made within 3–7 business days.

At Hope of Solace Institute, our classes maintain an average student-to-instructor ratio of 9:1, allowing for individualized attention and a more supportive learning environment.

Hope of Solace Institute offers a comprehensive education that combines classroom instruction with off-site clinical hours, in full alignment with the North Carolina state-approved curriculum.

The Refund Policy is established by the NC General Assembly for all NC community colleges. If any courses are canceled by HOS, a full refund will be given. Students do not have to request a refund in this case but have the option to apply funds to the next available class scheduled.

Refund requests and withdrawals MUST be made in writing by the student (no exceptions). Refund request forms are available at each class site. A request for refund and withdrawal may be done by letter.

No refunds will be granted under the following circumstances:

• The student fails to enter the course and communicates the reason in writing. 

Schedule of Refunds:

• 100% refund if the student withdraws in writing before the first day of class. A written request must be dated and received by the Continuing Education department, or instructor before the first date of course meeting.
• 75% refund if the student withdraws in writing within the first 25% of the period of scheduled hours. A written request must be dated and received by the Continuing Education department, or instructor before or on the “25-percent date” of scheduled hours. Students are responsible for obtaining the “25-percent date” from their instructor at the first-course meeting.
• No refund issued for withdrawals after 25% of the program has been completed.
